Troubleshooting and Solutions

  • Check the refund history for the charge in Chargebee and at the payment gateway.

  • Verify:

    • The amount already refunded from the original transaction.

    • The remaining refundable amount is available.

  • Adjust the refund amount to match the available balance.

  • Communicate clearly to the customer if only a partial refund can be processed.

  • If needed, offer alternative resolutions, such as issuing a credit note or a discount on future purchases.
